MADISON – Christy Aycock feels a sense of satisfaction when she sees students sincerely making an attempt to strengthen their conduct. Aycock is 2021 “Staff Member of the Year” at Horizon Elementary University.
What “makes me the most very pleased is that the pupils I have in ISS (In-College Suspension) test actually tricky not to appear again to ISS,” Aycock, an instructional aide, explained. “They catch me in the hallways and convey to me how they managed the problem that formerly introduced them to ISS.”

Her husband performs as an electrical engineer for PEO Missiles and Place on Redstone Arsenal. Their kids, who all enrolled at Westminster Christian Academy, are Caleb, 25, a pharmacy important at Auburn College and married to Sarah, also a pharmacist Olivia, 21, softball athlete majoring in biology and chemistry at Auburn Montgomery and Abigail, 17, a Westminster senior.
