Hoboken’s St. Ann’s Feast returns

The feast marks its 111th yr, celebrating the Novena to honor St. Ann.

The masses start July 17 at the church at Seventh and Jefferson streets. The festival exterior church will be on July 22 and 23, 6 to 11 p.m. and July 24, 25, and 26, 1 to 11 p.m.

The festival involves tons of food stuff, a beer yard, 50/50 raffle, and mass, July 26 at 11 a.m., followed by a procession in which a 600-pound statue of the saint is carried as a result of Hoboken.

The New Jersey Arts and Culture Recovery Fund (NJACRF) awarded $1.3 million in grants to much more than 60 New Jersey nonprofits.

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Defend of New Jersey joined SciTech Scity, Liberty Science Center’s 30-acre science innovation campus, as a Founding Company Sponsor. HoLa Charter College teacher wins schilarship

Hoboken Twin Language Constitution declared that elementary college teacher Gabriella Rodriguez has won a Fulbright Scholarship to educate English in Spain and provide as a cultural ambassador for the United States.

On July 18, Jersey Town native, most cancers survivor, and Make-A-Want recipient Joyce Sweeney will host a fundraiser at Halftime Bar & Grill, 746 West Facet Ave., 4 to 8 p.m. to guidance Make –A –Wish New Jersey.
